If you had to kill one of the other AH guys to save the world, who would you kill?
Soooo many people in this fandom have awesome interpretations of the Let’s Play guys Minecraft skins, I had to try and make a few for myself! I guess the route I went was keeping it pretty spot on to what they wear normally just with colors or add on’s relating to the character skin they chose.
So I started off with Gavin because he’s my favorite. Creeper polo and all green. Which is kind of cool because it’s the typical color of an archer so it sort of fit. Shout out to Mark Nutt!
The rest of the guys will follow and I’ll probably mush them all in together for a nice group shot :3
I just realized how much these characters grow throughout these games
Like Garrus for instance, he’s such a child in ME1
And then he grows into this awkward teenager phase where he’s just trying and failing to be an adult
And then in the end he’s suddenly just fully grown and all confident in his own skin and a totally different person from the moment you met him
Aaah Garrus. Cutest fictional-space-dinosaur-boyfriend <3
'choose your squad' haha more like 'which one of these losers is coming with you and Garrus'
I once read somewhere on the internet that apparently some people feel that Female Shepard isn’t a god “feminist” character because her and Male!Shep were designed to be basically the same character, with no major differences outside of romantic interests.
The weight of that idiocy astounded me and it made me wonder if they ever actually played the game, or even know what feminism is. Because that’s the whole point of feminism… to have a female character be treated the same, and say “hey look, they are no different, no matter what’s between their legs. They still both save the galaxy. They are still bad asses with hearts of gold. They still stop the Reapers and Collectors. Because the gender of Shepard doesn’t matter." The fact that Bioware hardly ever changed the male/female dialogue is a testament to this fact; they never felt that they had to girl Shepard up, make her more stereotypical, or have a pink suit, or blonde hair or change her tone just to make her seem “more like a girl” or “appeal to a female audience”. The point of Shepard is that Shepard could be whatever you want Shepard to be. And because Shepard’s writing is fairly decent, and her voice actor is amazing, I would say Female Shepard is the stronger of the Shepards, because she gives a more convincing role.
And if you really think these games aren’t feminist, then look at the amazing amount of important female characters in the game. They even have a whole RACE of female characters (even though they failed to bring in females from the others races sometimes, until the last game, and DLC), and many are in positions of power, or positions of importance, or are making discoveries or generally just being awesome. I actually commended this series for not cutting corners on ANY female representation, and sometimes even LGBT as well with gay/bisexual/pansexual/xenosexual characters. It was refreshing to see so many females on a squad, not just… all guys and one female token character.
Basically though, all the girls are badass. I may love them or hate them for different reasons, but they are all characters with families, ideals, and goals, all in their own right. They aren’t just cannon fodder or trophies, they are individuals or people with their own stories and backstories. The women of galaxy are tough ladies, and you would be dead if you crossed them in a dark alley.
Okay we need to take a moment to appreciate this
They are bestfriends yet they are like father and son
You can actually see Gavin looking up to Geoff
And they are that comfortable with each other that they can fall asleep together
And also how cute are all the photos they are in together
Some bonus pictures:
friendly reminder that for quite a few videos/streams after gavin moved out, geoff was really grumpy and kept bringing up how he left
how dare you
